OMG...I barely slept last night (Sunday).  I think it was combination of nerves and anticipation for things to come. After arriving home in Fort Wayne last night shortly after midnight, I stopped to get a meal at grandma's house, and then spent the rest of the evening wrapping my mind around the events to come over the next few days.  I am so excited and feel so blessed to have the opportunity to give American Idol my best, one last time.  

A few hours later...

I am sitting on a delta flight headed to Newark, NJ.  Physically I am tired, but my mind is going full throttle... LOL!!!  I am still making clothing decisions, thinking about my song selection (probably over-thinking it really :) ), and praying that the opportunity to pursue the dream I have had since childhood becomes a reality.  

Noon

Just checked into the hotel in Newark.  It is an awesome hotel (thanks FOX Fort Wayne!!!)  I am here with my cousin Camille (She's really more like a sister to me).  I am sure that I am getting on her nerves right now with all of my nervous energy (which if you don't know turns into hyperactivity for me...LOL).  We have mapped out directions to the Izod Center and now we are just resting and prepping for tomorrow morning.  

8pm

It all goes down at 7AM!!!  The nerves are definitely still there, but I have a good feeling about things to come.  I believe Tuesday is going to be a great day.  I leave nothing to chance, but everything to GOD.  He gave me this gift and regardless of what happens I know everything is going to work out how it is supposed to.  

Just gotta say to FOX and the judges that I truly thank you all for this opportunity to represent my hometown.  I will do my best to make you proud!!  I appreciate everyone's love, support, and prayers.  Look out for more to come soon...
