Fort Wayne's Sweetwater Sound plans to add hundreds of new jobs as part of a multi-million dollar expansion.

Sweetwater President and CEO Chuck Surack along Governor Mitch Daniels were on hand for today's groundbreaking.

Sweetwater will invest $23.5 million to expand its headquarters on U.S. 30.

The company will add 110,000 square feet which will include three floors of office space and a warehouse.

Sweetwater plans to create up to 316 new high-wage jobs by 2016.

"It allows us to continue adding more employees. We've been very blessed over the past five years. We've grown pretty fast and we've run out of space in our new building" says Surack.

The new addition will house warehouse, sales and marketing operations.
