Man Charged in Murder of Roomate's Death

A Warsaw man has been preliminarily charged with murder after allegedly strangling his roommate.

Lionel King and Robert Hurley lived together in the Hide Away Hills Mobile Home Park. Kosciusko Sheriff's Deputies responded to the mobile home Sunday afternoon to conductr a welfare check.

"The call for the welfare check came from the suspect's family who he had called and texted shortly after describing that he may have done somehthing wrong." said Captain Aaron Rovenstine with the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office.

Crime Scene technicians obtained evidence that King was strangled by a cord and then dragged into a bedroom in the mobile home.
