Three armed males robbed the PNC Bank on Coventry Road this morning.

The suspects armed with handguns and their faces concealed, entered the bank and directed the bank employees to the ground. One employee was handcuffed during the robbery.

The men fled through the rear of the building with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no customers inside the bank during the robbery and no one was injured.

A canine unit tracked from the rear of the bank into a nearby residential area. All three suspects are described as black males, 5'10" tall, and last seen wearing hooded sweatshirts. There is no suspect vehicle description.

The same location was targeted in a robbery on December 12, 2012. In the December robbery, a man entered the bank and handed a note to the teller demanding money. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash and no one was injured in the incident.

Investigators are currently analyzing still-images obtained through bank surveillance cameras. Anyone with information is asked to call the Fort Wayne Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 260-436-STOP (7867).
