FORT WAYNE, IN (February 20, 2013) - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants have acquired former Indiana Tech standout Bryant Austin from the NBA Development League's available player pool. Austin fills the roster spot vacated by Luke Harangody, who has been placed on the team's inactive list due to a knee injury.

Austin, a 6'6" forward, was selected by the Mad Ants in the 8th round of the 2012 NBA D-League Draft but was waived by the team prior to their first game. He played collegiately at Indiana Tech where he averaged 10.5 points and 6 rebounds per game as a senior during the 2008-09 season.

He will travel with the team to Erie, PA on Thursday and is expected to appear in the Mad Ant's game against the BayHawks on Friday night at 7:00pm.
