Local gas stations and convenience stores are cashing in on the Powerball lottery.

On Sunday, officials bumped the jackpot up to $425 million. That's the largest jackpot in powerball history.

This is the second major jackpot in the past year. Back in March, the Mega Millions Lottery climbed to a record $640 million. The Powerball could even eclipse that number by Wednesday's drawing.

According to Powerball, the odds of winning the jackpot are one in 175,223,510.
