Police shot and killed an armed man his morning on
It all started as an armed robbery at the CVS on the 2800 block of
"Two officers pursued this individual into an apartment building they encounter the armed individual and shots were fired at that time," said Raquel Foster with the Fort Wayne Police Department.
The gunman died and has been identified as Stephen O'Neal Wattley II
"We heard three gun shots the first one went pop, and then you hear pop pop, said Donovan Harvey.
"I mean it was right above me so I was more or less scared that it might come through because I have kids here," said
"What people may not realize is that this is considered a criminal investigation as well and the officer is responsible for every projectile he shootings from his firearm," said Foster.
