It's been a few days since the last major snowfall, and If you haven't cleared your sidewalk, you might want to grab a shovel. According to city code, you could face a fine if you don't.

Section 99 of the Fort Wayne City Code of Ordinances states that residents must clear the sidewalk in front of their home or building by nine o'clock the morning after a snowfall.

The rule also applies to renters -- so you still may be liable if your landlord forgets to clear a path.

The fine structure is vague, according to the rules, only specifying a fine of "no less than $10 and no more than $300."
