Indiana Tech Women's Basketball has two student-athletes named NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Fort Wayne, Ind. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced the 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes and Indiana Tech's Kendall Guthrie (Lake Oswego, OR/Lake Oswego) and Bryn Schlatter (Antwerp, OH/Antwerp) were two of the 178 Division II women's basketball student-athletes recognized for their academic excellence.
Guthrie, a sport management major from Lake Oswego, Oregon, and Schlatter, an elementary education major from Antwerp, Ohio, earned the honor by maintaining a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, the student-athlete must also have achieved a junior academic status.
