FORT WAYNE, IN (March 13, 2013) - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants announced today that they have acquired veteran forward Terrance Thomas and released guard Darryl Partin. Thomas will be joining the team and playing Thursday against the Maine Red Claws.

This is Thomas' third year in the D-League. In 2008-2009, he played for the Bakersfield Jam where he averaged 9.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. Last season, he played for the Reno Bighorns and the Canton Charge, where he averaged 9.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. The Mad Ants are looking for Thomas to provide depth to their front court after losing forward Luke Harangody to injury.

To make room for Thomas, the Mad Ants released guard, Darryl Partin. Partin was a fourth round draft pick for the Ants this season, and he was averaging 6.5 points per game.
