Skeletal Remains found in early May by a mushroom hunter in Miami County have been identified. The skeleton was found in a wooded area south of Peru, near the Wabash and Miami county line. Using dental records, police identified those remains as Jordan Sopher. Sopher was 18 years old when she disappeared back in 2006. Her adoptive parents reported her missing in May of that year. Wabash police detectives tell Fox Fort Wayne there are several persons of interest in the case that still need to be interviewed. No cause of death has been determined.
