Local Pastor Busted For Dealing Crack

Police arrested Pastor Carlton White III on three counts of dealing cocaine. The arrest happened last Friday at the Pine Haven Motel. Police also arrested 44-year-old Beatrice Knox who police say was helping White to deal drugs. White is pastor at the Divine Faith Baptist Church. Whites own congregation members tipped off police about possible drug activity by the pastor. Police investigated for about a month before making an arrest. Motel management says White stayed at Pine Haven for about a month and never seemed suspicious. Police found more than 13 grams of crack including several grams stashed inside of Whites body cavity. Whites church is located just a block away from the Jennings Recreation Center which hosts dozens of kids in the summer.
