Just after 5 P.M. last night a shooting began near the corner of Lafayette and Dalman streets in south Fort Wayne.

A man in a white pick-up truck began shooting at a male in a maroon Buick.

Police say the man in the Buick was shot in the abdomen. According to the victim, the pick-up up truck continued to swerve through traffic following the Buick before ending up at 3116 Calhoun Street.

The victim was then taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Currently the victim is in serious but stable condition.

Police currently do not have a motive. Also no names or ages of those involved have been released at this time. Police say that the victim was only in the car at the time contrary to previous reports. The victim says he does know the shooter.
