American flags Around Fort Wayne flew at half staff today to honor Ted Kennedy. “When he spoke you listened” says State Representative Win Moses. Moses recalls his time spent with Senator Kennedy saying “I’ve know Senator Kennedy for many decades and hes a person thatll be missed.” Moses continues by saying “he had an intensity in his feelings of helping people. Getting up each morning to make sure the world was a better place.” Senator Evan Bayh said today “Ted brought a great passion and energy to all the causes he championed. When he rose to speak, it was always with a full heart.” Indiana senator Dick Lugar also added that Kennedy “lived a great life of service, family strength and enduring friendships. I will miss him very much.” “It was a joy to be around him. I was in his office a few times always busy, always active, very polite” adds Moses. Kennedy frequently came to Indiana during his nearly 50 years as a U-S Senator. “He would come to Indiana, sometimes to Fort Wayne, sometimes to other places and he always had a message. He was always trying to make America better” Moses says. Moses also adds that Kennedy will be “hard to live without.”
