Some might complain for having on Labor Day holiday, but not these guys.
Wayne Redding with the Allen County Sheriffs Department says “Somebody has to do it. That’s what we signed up for. So we are glade to take our turn.”
The Olive Garden Hospitaliano team woke up bright and early this morning to get food ready those with the Sherriff’s department.
They say it’s a labor of love.
Kim Momosinski with the Hospitaliano Team says “They do a lot behind the scenes and they aren’t recognized everyday.”
Rachel McKenna with the Hospitaliano Team says “They are out there helping our community and this is just a little way for us to thank them.”
Olive Garden has nearly 700 stores nation wide feeding emergency personnel today. The Allen County Sherriff’s Department says small acts like this mean a lot.
Redding says “It’s nice to know that people appreciate that we are out there helping them out and giving a little something back to the guys who are out there working.”
And the most excited to see the food wasn’t a police officers, but rather one of their 9-Ks
