City's Top Spokesman Files Protective Order Against Former Girlfriend

   Fort Wayne's Public Information Director Vince Robinson has filed a protective order against a woman who filed one against him just days earlier.

   Kimberly Wiley accuses Robinson of attacking her at home last Tuesday. According to court documents, Wiley says Robinson threw her to the floor, body-slammed her, and threw an iron candle holder at her head.

A magistrate granted a protective order valid for two years.

   But on Tuesday Robinson filed a protective order against Wiley, which was also approved. Court documents show on October 11th, Robinson says, Wiley threatened to hurt him. The next day, he says, Wiley made the same threat, pushed him, struck him with her fists, and hit him with a curtain rod. Robinson also says Wiley may have access to a gun.

   Robinson is the second administration official to run into trouble recently. Last week, 911 Communications Director Tina Taviano was put on paid leave.
   Mayor Tom Henry wouldn't comment specifically Tuesday on either case. But he says investigations are open on both.

   A city official says Robinson is taking personal days off, but doesn't know when he'll be back to work.

   Even though Robinson and Taviano are not at work, Henry says it's not hurting his administration.
   Robinson and Wiley are scheduled to appear in a hearing in November.
