North Side football is changing the way they do things. After post season disapointment over the last couple years North Side High School Football is ready for some change.

After post season disapointment over the last couple years North Side High School football is ready for some change."We were a 500 football team last year, we lost in the second round. We're really hoping this year's our year. We have high expectations here. We've been talking from day one that we want to win championships. We're tired of getting beat in the second round," said head coach Ryan Hall.

"It's a big disapointment for playoffs because ever since i've been here we've been drawing Snyder in the second round," said running back Quinton Griffin.

"I mean it's been 3 years in a row so we're trying to break that habit," replied offesnive tackle Robert Lowry. The red skins have stepped up their game and are looking like they're clicking on all cylanders during two-days practices

"Offense is clicking, defense is clicking. High itensity game. A lot of fun," said Lowry.

"Special teams will be very agressive," Coach Hall said.

"It's a very fast paced high scoring this year, I believe and a very hard hitting defense. A lot of talent a lot of returning starters," Griffin stated. The coaches have taken a firmer more hands on approach as part of the plan

"It's going to be a lot different than past years. The coaches and staff are lot more stricter on us and strive to do better," explained Griffin.Although it has been hot and muggy, the team has a game plan to beat the heat

"Two A
Days are great, hot," said Lowry.

Griffin agreed, "hot. It's really hot but they're actually looking good. We're having a lot of fun out here learning to prepare for these upcoming games."

Coach filled in that, "We decided to pay attention to the heat for the first few days. We give them turkey sandwiches, watermelson, drinks, granola bars. We make sure they're hydrated and ready to go for the second practice."Because of the team's new attitude they are confident going into the 2011 season.

Griffin said that, "I'm very anxious to see what we can do in the season and get a lot of wins."

Coach Hall replied, "Really hope this year is our year!"

Lowry stated that, "It's gonna happen this year. We're gonna win!"
