According to the Federal Election Commission, only a few dozen Fort Wayne residents have contributed to presidential campaigns this year. Thant might not come as a shock, considering how late our primary is held.

On Wednesday, WFFT spoke with two local donors to see what motivated them to donate.

Data on all campaign donations is available from the FEC's website. If you make a donation, your name and size of your contribution becomes public information. According to the most recent data, Ron Paul is a favorite among local donors.

Paul garnered nearly 30 percent of all individual contributions -- only second to President Barack Obama.
