The Allen County Health department says it has received dozens of calls from diners who say they experienced vomiting and stomach cramps after eating meals at the restaurant on Sunday.
The restaurant was closed down for a period to be inspected and cleaned. WFFT made several attempts on Friday to contact Cebolla's management, but they were not available for comment.
Health Department records show that the restaurant has been cited for 45 code violations in the past three years -- nearly half of which were labeled as "repeat" violations.
The Health Department would not say on Friday whether the restaurant will face penalties or fines as a result of the outbreak.
