Sources: Komets set to join the ECHL

Fort Wayne, Indiana - Sources have confirmed to WFFT Local Sports Director Randy Ziemnik that the Komets are set to officially announce a move to the ECHL at a press conference tomorrow.

As for the future of Head Coach Al Sims, his future with the team appears to still be a little bit up in the air , his contract is up and has had an offer on the table from the Komets for some time. But several sources within the organization could not give a definate answer as to Sims status with the team. We should know much more on Sims status with the team at tomorrow's press conference.

    We'll give you all the latest on the Komets move to the ECHL tonight on WFFT Local News First at Ten.
