Tuesday Evening there were just under 28 thousand customers without electricity, the bulk of which were in Allen County.
AEP Ohio is working to restore electricity to the Ohio counties in WFFT's viewing area. As of Tuesday night, nine thousand customers in Defiance, Paulding and Van Wert Counties were without power.
Since the storm, more than 500 workers from around the country have been brought in to assist Indiana-Michigan Power crews in Northeast Indiana.
Officials say that crews first focused on the areas where grid issues impacted the most people, and will move on to more minor and isolated problems moving forward.
AEP estimates roughly 80 percent of customers will have their electricity back by late Wednesday.
