Surrounded by all
the Steelers stuff, the Davis family wears black and gold from head to toe.
Amanda Davis said, "It gives us all something to do on Sundays as a family
together." And this Sunday the family hopes some Davis magic leads to the
Lombardi. "I think it would be pretty cool," smiled Keith.
Every year a
Davis was born is tied to a Championship Steelers Team. Keith in 79, Amanda in
80. Keith said, "I think it's pretty neat."
Their daughter Paige was
born for '06. She was trained in Terrible Towel twirling in time for the '09
Championship, that's the season her brother Little Ben arrived - and yes, he's
named after that other - bigger Ben.
This season the couple welcomed
baby Nathan. If you're superstitious the Steelers seventh Superbowl could rest
on his little shoulders. "It would be really cool," said
Amanda.
Eyewitness News asked, if the Davis family helps the Steelers add
another year to the championship banner, will there be more babies? Amanda
answered, "We're definitely not having any more babies so we're not helping the
Steelers any more after this."
But if the Steelers do win, maybe someone
will convince them to take another shot.
