Pouncey Misses Friday Practice, Out For Super Bowl

(Fort Worth, TX) -- The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without rookie center Maurkice Pouncey for Super Bowl 45. Pouncey was ruled out for the game after missing practice Friday. He also was held out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday due to a high ankle sprain.
Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin had said Pouncey wouldn't play if he missed Friday's workout.
Doug Legursky will now start at center when the Steelers face the Green Bay Packers for the NFL title Sunday at Cowboys Stadium.
