Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry is giving the public a chance to get personal with the mayor's office.

On Monday, Henry held a 'mayor's night in,' giving residents the opportunity to voice their comments and concerns in person.

"I just wanted to see how we could better fit with the city," said John Hester, moments after his one-on-one with the mayor. Hester owns a local delivery service, and wanted Henry's advice on how to expand in the community.

Officials say the meetings provide the public with a private forum to discuss everything from business, to concerns in their community. Several attendees expressed problems with things such as street lights and road conditions in their neighborhoods.

Henry holds a 'mayor's night in' roughly four times each year, in addition to door-to-door neighborhood walks and, more recently, online forums.
