The latest Howey/Depauw University poll shows Donnelly with an 11 point lead over Mourdock -- 47 to 36 percent.
The results follow a very tight campaign season for Indiana's seven seat. Nearly every poll taken since the primary has showed both candidates in a statistical dead heat.
"There is no way Richard Mourdock is down by eleven points," said Rep. Marlin Stutzman (R-IN) Saturday at a TEA Party event in Huntington. "I don't know why they would even release this poll frankly with that sort of number -- it's a tight race."
Stutzman's sentiments have been echoed by the Mourdock campaign as well, whose internal polling shows Donnelly with just a two point lead.
