It all started on Wednesday at a location near Big Chapman lake in Kosciusko County. While making a deal for heroin, undercover officers were tipped off about a meth lab in a trailer park on the 3100 block of Stoneburner Road.
Inside, officers found a meth lab and other paraphernalia. They arrested Shawn Morton, 50, and Dawn Morton 47.
Officers then returned to the Heroin deal which resulted in another arrest, and a tip that the operation was being run out of a trailer at the Whispering Pines Mobile Home Park near Leesburg.
SWAT teams entered and found at least 100 bags of heroin. Adam Shay, Darshawn Moore, Kim Sanford and Rachel Truex were all arrested in connection with the case. Police also arrested two minors, one of which is being charged in connection with the Heroin Ring.
