Plow drivers in Northeast Indiana worked overtime on Wednesday to keep up with the season's first snow storm.

By Wednesday evening, many residential and secondary roads in the area has yet to be plowed. Most of the area's major roads, however, are in good condition.

Streets like Lima Road, Coliseum Boulevard and I-69 were all mostly clear by early evening.

The Indiana Department of Transportation says it had drivers out on the roads starting early Wednesday morning, covering at least 35 thousand miles of road.

Fort Wayne says it will have its plows running through the night. Residents in Allen County will have to wait until 4 o'clock Thursday morning for plowing to resume.
