Pile-up Kills Two, Injures Six

Two people are dead and seven were taken to the hospital after a multi-car crash in New Haven.
It happened on Tuesday just before 11 o'clock on U.S. 30 just East of I-469 in New Haven. Five cars and a single tractor-trailer were involved.Seven people were taken to the hospital -- two of them in serious condition.
The wreck snarled Westbound traffic on U.S. 30 for much of the day. Lanes were closed for at least five miles leading up to the crash and diverted beyond the I-469 intersection.
New Haven police say the investigation is still ongoing and an official cause of the accident has not been released. They said the road was dry and visibility was good at the time of the crash.
