House Fire on Allegany Avenue

Fort Wayne, Ind. (WFFT) - The Fort Wayne Fire Department is investigating the cause of a house fire today on Allegany Avenue.

Neighbors say they called 911 when they saw smoke from a back window of the house.

Matt Laisure lives on Allegeny Avenue. He told WFFT, "It's a shame what's happened. Hopefully they can put things back together and continue on with their life."

Officials say the fire started around noon in the living room.

No one was injured or home when the fire started.
