"My aunt called me and said 'Hey there's a job opening come out and get it and I was like all right," said Stephen.

The company manufactures containers used for hauling gas and other materials.  300 news jobs are expected to be filled by 2016.

"I'm very hopeful," said Stephen.

Stephen has been unemployed for several months and says  a new job would allow him to start paying off his debt.   .

"It's been hard nobody is really hiring its pretty hard right now," said Stephen.

Derek Nilsen the vice president of marketing for Accelerated Tanks and Trailers says they're looking to hire local.

"The employees we have now are all local and if we can find more like those then we'd be pleased," said Nilsen.

Ashley Steenman with the Fort Wayne-Allen County Economic Alliance says the new plant continues a year of success.

"2011-2012 have been good years for us in northeast Indian so this is continued momentum forward," said Steenman.

Steenman says the average salary is $48,000. Accelerated Tanks and Trailers is using a third party for hiring.  Click the link for more information.  Leadersstaffing.com
