Even though gas prices have spiked recently, millions of people are planning long trips during the Memorial Day weekend, according to AAA.

At the same time, many law enforcement agencies are cracking down on seatbelt violations as part of the “Click it or Ticket” campaign, which runs until the end of May.

FOX Fort Wayne rode along with an Indiana State Trooper to find out what drivers need to know as they prepare for holiday travel this weekend.
