A new USA Today/Gallup poll suggests the economic recession may impact summer travel.
The poll reports half of Americans say they plan to travel this summer. Of that, 52% say they are responding to the economic recession by changing their travel plans—like traveling closer to home—while 49% say they are sticking to their original travel plans.
FOX Fort Wayne talked with travelers at a local state park about the economy’s impact on their summer travel.
