In just eleven months you could be on your way to an MBA degree in Business. IPFW recently announced an Accelerated MBA program that would run from the middle of August until June of next year.
"The fact that you can get this done in eleven months is out of this world,” says prospective student Joe Henry.
Lyman Lewis, the Assistant Director to the program, say that many have come forward showing interest in the program because "students want convenience"
Dave Hanley, like many recently, lost his job. Hanley feels this new program will make him more marketable and more money. “I got my undergrad in business and an MBA just seemed like the next step” says Hanley.
All are welcome to apply for the program even if you did not get your Undergrad in Business.
However the program is geared towards working professionals and not those who just got their Undergrad.
“It’s not for those who just got their Undergrad because of the pace of the course,” says Lewis.
This program is the only in Northeast Indiana to be AACSB accredited
(Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)
Lewis says that "it is the highest form of accreditation that a school can have."
Only ten percent of universities worldwide are AACSB accredited.
And IPFW has the professors to prove it.
6 out of 9 of the professors in this MBA program have doctoral degrees.
But with all good things there comes a price.
If you live in Indiana the program will cost you over 16-thousand dollars; for out-of-staters it will cost over 36-thousand.
Another plus to the program, the GMAT is not required for admission. If you would like to apply for program you have until June 30 to do so. To apply visit www.ipfw.edu/mba.
