Germanfest has begun in Fort Wayen! The German festival officially began yesterday with a German Catholic church service. Festivities at Headwater Park begin Wednesday and run through Sundays. Set-up at the park is on schedule. Germanfest has been a Fort Wayne tradition since 1981, and is put on by the Germanfest Committee. The all famous, ceremonial tapping of the keg will be held on Wednesday morning at eleven. For the full schedule of events visit Fort Wayne home page dot net.
