‘Thriller’ was a record-setting hit.

His white glove was recognized around the world.

And his famous moon walk was a move only capable by a select few.

Michael Jackson: a household name.

And to many Fort Wayne residents, his death comes as a shock to say the least.

Allen Nuttle was certainly in shock. “Wow, all I can say is wow” says Nuttle.

Kris Hensler is also shocked considering Jackson’s age at death. He says “he’s only 50-years-old or something like 51 or 52. You wonder what’s behind that” says Hensler.

I remember being in like 5th or 6th grade and had the cassette of ‘Thriller’ says Kristin Baxter.

“He’s really pretty young, you wonder what’s going to happen to his kids” wonders Lisa Springer.

“He’s had a lot to offer the world. It’s really shocking, really” Richard Dates says.
.
The ‘King of Pop’ was set to perform in the U.K. starting July 13. Fifty shows were scheduled in London. All sold out within minutes, becoming the fastest selling ticket sales in history.
