Police arrested convicted murderer Thomas W. Hovis on several charges involving drugs and guns found at his home in Angola. Among the things found were portable meth labs, rifles and a shotgun. Other drugs and drug paraphernalia was also found. Hovis stepbrother said Hovis inherited his home which also houses a dog kennel from his late father. According to the stepbrother Hovis also inherited several guns from his father. Hovis was not home at the time of the police raid. Police later arrested him in Auburn.
