NASA Discovery Mission

The space shuttle Discovery is hours away from a mission to the International Space Station.
Discovery will carry a seven-member crew on the 13-day mission. One of them, Kevin Ford, is a Hoosier native. Ford will pilot Discovery. He’s been with NASA since 2000. This will be his first journey into space.
The crew will deliver science supplies and equipment to the International Space Station. One of the supplies is the COLBERT treadmill—an exercise device named after comedian Stephen Colbert.
