Angola Teacher Busted for Sex with Student

Police say an Angola teacher had sex with a 17-year-old student at her house. Thirty-seven-year-old Dawn Marie Schwartzengraber faces one charge of sexual misconduct with a minor.
As Fox Fort Wayne reported two weeks ago, sex crimes are the number one reason Indiana teachers lose their licenses every year.
Indiana State Police say Schwartzengraber had sex with her student at her home in Angola as well as on roads in Indiana and Michigan. The student was fifteen-years-old when the alleged misconduct began.
Schwartzengraber lives in Angola, but teaches at Camden-Frontier High School in Michigan, where the teen was a student. She has taught at the High School for more than ten-years according to Michigan State Police. If convicted in Indiana she faces up to 20-years behind bars.
Michigan State Police have requested the prosecutor in Hillsdale County (MI) consider filing charges against Schwartzengraber for criminal sexual conduct in Michigan.
