For students across the area snow days mean snow- ball fights and sledding. But that's not all. Ashley Huynh a freshman at North Side High School says “I've hung out with friends, helped my mom out, babysat and watched TV, and shoveled snow.”

Ashley's says after being home for 3 days its getting old.  “Yeah, I get bored at home. I'm ready to go back and see my friends.”

The coordinator at Cooper Community Center, Camille Curry, has a different story. Curry says “I've not heard a student say they want to go back to school. I've never heard that. That would be a rarity.”

Cooper Community Center has been keeping kids busy both in and out of the snow.  Curry says “They like to do sledding, movies and popcorn. They love to play tournaments, all the children love computer time.”

Some are over the snow days while others are ready to get back to class. For now, snowball fights will have to do until its time to hit the books.

The Spokesperson from Fort Wayne Community Schools told me they're not sure if school will resume tomorrow. The district says it totally depends on Thursday’s weather.  Students will have to make the snow days up. The make up days will be May 28th and June 9th.
