Three Fort Wayne teams are in the girl’s basketball state finals, Bishop Luers, Canterbury and Concordia Lutheran.
The Summit City is on fire for girl's basketball. Mayor Tom Henry stopped by schools in the finals to wish the teams good luck. Henry says “We wish them all the best, and again letting them know that the city, as big as we are, we're all behind them.”
The celebration continued into the evening. Fan Fest was buzzing with locals and visitors. Free throw competitions, obstacle courses, and just trying to get the ball in the hoot kept kids busy. People weren't shy about rallying for their team.
Vera Bradley was a big sponsor of Fan Fest. Half of the money raised tonight will go to the Vera Bradley's foundation for Breast Cancer.
If you still need tickets to the game, they're now on sale at the Coliseum. The first game tips off at 10:30 in the morning.
