Partnership Fights For Navistar Workers

The Northeastern Indiana Regional Partnership launched an initiative to lure business to Fort Wayne and surrounding areas. The goal is to bring companies who will hire workers let go by Navistar.

Navistar announced it will be leaving Fort Wayne taking hundreds of jobs with it. NEIRP believes Navistar's workers are some of the most talented workers in the country. It plans to use that as bait to lure companies here.

The strategy also includes highlighting educational opportunities, location & quality of life.
