Indiana Congressman Mike Pence (R) won a straw poll of potential GOP candidates for a presidential bid in 2012. It happened at the Value Voters meeting in Washington, D.C.
Pence won 24% of the vote, beating out Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney. Both Huckabee & Romney were GOP presidential candidates in the 2008 Republican primary.
Pence also won the straw poll for Vice President carrying 16% of the vote. Sarah Palin came in second in the VP poll with 15% of the vote.
