A North Side High School teen's suicide is part of a national debate about gay rights & bullying even though many say he was not gay and not bullied.
Postings from those identifying themselves as friends and peers on Facebook and Perez Hilton's famous celebrity website allege the 14-year-old was bullied for being gay even though he was straight.
The boy's family told FOX Fort Wayne News the boy was not bullied but rather made a bad choice. The boy's father has said the boy was not gay.
One posting on Perez Hilton.com from someone claiming to be the boy's relative said the family did not want the boy's death to become propaganda and instead hoped he would be remembered for who he was.
