Fatal Shooting

The FWPD is investigating a fatal shooting on the city's southeast side that garnered the attention of federal marshals.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. on Lillie St. The victim - a man - was taken to the hospital and later died. Police say they do not know much about events leading up to the shooting and are still investigating.

Federal marshals were on the crime scene. A spokesperson for the FWPD said there was no specific reason marshals were there.

Police have not released the victim's name.
