Neighbors say they didn't see or hear a thing.

Yesterday morning, around 7:15AM, a fourteen-year old girl was walking to the bus stop. It was still dark out. She was headed to Oxford and Gaywood on Fort Wayne’s southeast side. But before getting there she says she was forced into a vehicle, raped, then let go.

Today Edna Pinkston picked her granddaughter up from that same bus stop. Pinkston also dropped her off there yesterday morning, at the same time the girl says the rape happened. She says she didn't see anything. Her granddaughter says the same.

We noticed that Pinkston was the one there to pickup. Neighbors say most kids walk.

"No, I didn't hear anything I didn't see anything” says Jerome Jackson, who live nearby.

Jackson heads to work every morning around 7AM and drives by the stop. But he too didn't notice anything unusual.

Police say they're looking for a black man. They also say he drives a four-door, older maroon vehicle. It's not much information, but Jackson says he's now on the lookout.

"My mind is wide open. I'm looking for him. My eyes are wide open” says Jackson.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Fort Wayne Police Department at 260-427-1201.
