Verizon launched sales of the Apple iPad today. FOX Fort Wayne News caught up with a local Verizon store to find out what customers can expect.

The biggest advantage to buying an iPad from Verizon is the ability to jump online anytime, anywhere. The cheapest package from Verizon runs $630 in addition to a monthly service charge for internet. That can run between $20 to $80.

Analysts speculate Verizon's venture into selling Apple products could be a precursor to eventually selling the iPhone. Right now AT&T holds exclusive rights to selling the iPhone.
