Convicted murderer Scott Pattison faces up to 65-years behind bars. But Wabash County Prosecutor Bill Hartley says it is unlikely he will serve the maximum sentence.
A jury convicted Pattison on Tuesday of killing his wife Lisa on a weight bench in their home.
The recommended sentence for murder is 55-years. A judge can increase or decrease that by ten years. One reason to increase would be an extensive prior criminal record which Pattison does not have.
Hartley says he will ask for the recommended sentence of 55-years.
