Fort Wayne Police say they have arrested 90 people in a four month period in connection with prostitution. Eighteen of the suspects allegedly crossed state lines to sell sex in the Summit City. Police say much of the criminal activity was facilitated on the internet with sites like Escort.com and Craigslist.
FWPD's investigation began last summer and includes arrests connected to five local spas. Police say suspects came to Fort Wayne from IL, OH, MI, KY and TX.
The busts were part of a federal crackdown on prostitution through the FBI's "Operation Cross Country."
