Baseball fans in Northeast Indiana will get a unique opportunity to see some Triple-A action.

The padres' Triple-A affiliate from Tucson will play a four-game series at Parkview Field next summer.

The games will be held during Three Rivers Festival week.  the Triple-A Padres will take on the Las Vegas 51's.

Tickets will be free to all TinCaps full-season ticket holders, otherwise, you'll pay the same price as regular tincaps games.

"This is an extremely rare occurrence to bring two Triple-A teams to a Single-A  stadium. In the 19-years that I’ve been in this industry, I haven't heard of another franchise that has been able to do something like this” says TinCaps President Mike Nutter.
