The East Allen County Resource Center needed $25K by Wednesday, Nov. 24th, in order to stay open. Between $5K to $10K in donations came into the center over the last 48-hours. However the River Haven location closed its doors today. A letter to parents said services have been "temporarily suspended."
The Center hopes to reopen if it receives a grant from the state that would fund its remaining costs. It is still requesting donations from the community.
